MY SON HUNTER SMITH WAS DIAGNOSED WITH PDD/AUTISM WHEN HE WAS 18 MONTHS OLD. HE UNDERWENT LONG STAYS IN THE HOSPITAL, BIRTH TO THREE ,SURGERY DUE TO THE MEDICATIONS HE WAS ON TO TREAT SPINAL MYNINJIDUS AT AGE 5 WEEKS OLD HE WAS HOSPITALIZED 30 DAYS DUE TO THE ILLNESS. I QUESTION ALOT IF THE ILLNESS CAUSED THE AUTISM. HE HAD FLUID ON HIS BRAIN AND IT DAMAGED PARTS OF HIS BRAIN. DOCTORS HERE IN WEST VIRGINA CANT NOT ANSWER MY QUESTIONS ABOUT AUTISM. WE HAVE VERY LITTLE RESEARCH OR FUNDRAISING FOR AUTISM IN WEST VIRGINA. WE HAVE SPECIAL NEEDS PROGRAMS IN VERY FEW CITIES HERE. IM REACHING OUT TO AUTISM SPEAKS FOR MY PRECOUS GIFT FROM GOD MY SON HUNTER SCOTT SMITH. (DONNA ACORD)

she uses the countapiece when she is working with the kids ,she puts it on her wrist and count every time is a repounse from the kid.
