Then you have access to information that I have not received because as of this date I have not received notification from DHS that the investigation has been concluded, you are stating that DHS notified you of the results before even contacting me the parent. But you haven’t answered my question. Is it not in the school policy that a police report must be filed with the police when the charges of abuse are reported? Because the copy of the handbook that I have states that it is the schools responsibility to file the police report. I am also requesting the name of the person that gave you this information concerning my Juvenile son and the results of the investigation without my written consent and even before I the parent was notified. Does my disabled son not have any rights? I can assure that a report was not made to any police agency by Mr. Green or any other official with the Little Rock School District and I am certain that you are well aware that DHS does not make police reports. Neither did you address the fact that while this investigation was ongoing the little rock school district not only didn’t place the accused abuser on leave but actually left him in direct contact with my son. Again I ask you does my disabled child not have any rights. Please send me a copy of the report that you have obtained from DHS concerning the claims were unsubstantiated. So basically what you are saying here is that my son can come home from school, black and blue, I carry him and have him examined at Children’s Hospital, Brandon names his abuser to the Doctor and to the social worker at the hospital, to the assigned DHS case worker and nothing is going to be done. Brandon repeatedly stated to the Dr. and the social worker the name of the person that abused him, how he abused him and where he abused him. I do not believe that we live in a society where a disabled child can name his abuser, have it documented at a hospital, no police report made, the doctor nor the social worker at the hospital questioned, security tapes at the school not be viewed, even though I requested to view the tapes and was denied on several different occasions and no one is going to be held accountable. Can anyone help???
